The company today
Under the leadership of Sole Director Vito Gattulli, I.L. Carni spans 1,800 sqm in the Artisan Zone of Modugno and operates two large blast chillers capable of reaching micro-crystallization at –18°C, preserving the texture and flavor of every product.
The constant pursuit of refinement and tenderness has built, over the years, relationships of mutual trust with customers and suppliers throughout Italy.
Our history
In the old town of Modugno, in the so-called "chiazzodde", Maria Maglietti opens a small butcher shop that stands out for the quality of its Abruzzo lamb and for the house specialty: the involtino.
Her son Vito Gattulli personally oversees the import of lamb meat from the Abruzzo mountains. The family business lays the roots of an extraordinary commercial growth.
1,800 sqm of facility, high-tech blast chillers and distribution that reaches all of Italy. Recognized quality, tradition intact.
